West Palm Beach chiropractic spinal manipulation care is relieving and cost effective.

SPINAL MANIPULATION IS EFFECTIVE AND COST REDUCING FOR SPINE CARE

Moses Chiropractic welcomes all spine pain patients! Spine pain is unwelcome by its sufferers. West Palm Beach chiropractic spinal manipulation is beneficial for many. Though low back pain is a major source of disability globally, its sufferers who experience persistent or recurrent bouts of low back pain report that chiropractic maintenance care is effective as it is patient-centered care. (1) Neck pain sufferers, too, find help with chiropractic. Neck pain patients who undergo spinal manipulation – 90% of which is delivered by chiropractors in the US – were found to be 2.38 times less likely to need higher level and costly care like imaging, injection, emergency room or surgery (just 26%) than patients who were treated with other kinds of care (46%). (2) A recent study of Medicare patient claims states that patients who had less access to chiropractic care had a rise in visits (32.3 a year) to primary care physicians for spine pain and an uptick in spine surgeries (5.5 a year) costing an extra $114,967 per 1000 Medicare beneficiaries and $391 million nationally. (3) Your West Palm Beach chiropractor is well-qualified in delivering spinal manipulation.  Spinal manipulation is and has been recommended as first-line treatment for low back pain. Reviews of Medicare claims point out that chiropractors are the majority of healthcare providers for spinal manipulation and that the overall supply of spinal manipulation providers is dropping. (4) Have no fear! Your hometown, West Palm Beach chiropractor does not intend to stop providing pain-relieving spinal manipulation, particularly the gentle, research-supported Cox® Technic style of spinal manipulation.

Listen to this PODCAST with Dr. Kurt Olding on The Back Doctors Podcast with Dr. Michael Johnson as he presents research on the role of spinal manipulation in the Cox® Technic System of Spinal Pain Management for the relief of spinal stenosis, a common spine pain condition in the over-65 age group.

Moses Chiropractic presents new research on the benefit of adequate B vitamin levels.

West Palm Beach CHIROPRACTIC TIP OF THE MONTH:

Beneficial B Vitamins

The benefits of B vitamins is undeniable. B12 deficiency is often linked with dementia in patients 65 years old and over. It has also been found in young people who have normal B12 levels but have a high methylmalonic acid (MMA) level. Testing the MMA level may be a useful test in patients with symptoms that seem unconnected as in one patient with neuropathy, depression and stomach issues who tested a high level of MMA. (5) Biotin (B7) supplementation is showing potential in the treatment of neuropathic pain and could reduce the necessary doses of analgesic drugs. (6) Riboflavin (B2) in foods and via supplements is known for its antioxidant, anti-cancer, and anti-inflammatory effects among others. A new study reported that B2 offers anti-itch properties. (7) Are your B levels good? Let’s talk at your next visit!
